Manufacturing
Dedicated global suppliers form our manufacturing base which provide a formidable mixture of capabilities. Aura has worked with major facilities to secure component manufacturing. Aura products have been sourced worldwide: U.S., Korea, Malaysia, China and the Philippines. Electronics and structure have been assembled in Mexico, Malaysia and China. Bass Shakers and Bass Shaker Plus have been manufactured in India and Mexico. We will continue to source product worldwide in order to obtain the most favorable terms.


Engineering/Quality Control
Today, an integral part of product development is listening to dealers and customers and developing products based on changing market dynamics. AuraSound's speaker lab, testing and assembly facility in the U.S. houses engineering and design teams including industry experts worldwide. Standardized test devices built and designed in our facility assure quality control in all of our various manufacturing facilities. By designing quality products and closely monitoring production, we have been able to reduce warranty related returns to well below industry norms.


Worldwide Sales and Marketing
Aura is proud of its developing multinational sales force which is centered in the U.S. and Japan. The sales force is divided into OEM, professional and retail sales markets and is supported by comprehensive marketing materials, and efficient order fulfillment and tracking. As we continue to expand our distribution channels and increase awareness, our products continue to receive numerous accolades and industry awards. Our aggressive marketing campaigns include market-specific product messages that provide detailed product information and offer customer support.


Our Products & Partners: Mobile Audio
For the past four years, Aura, Sound has received critical acclaim and awards for its Bass Shaker products. Last year, Aura Mobile Audio continued its aggressive expansion with an award-winning product line-up. We added the Mobile Reference Series Speakers and Bass Shaker Plus System –– both recipients of CES '97 Design & Engineering honors for innovation –– the Force Series Speakers, Force Amplifiers and PSL Series speakers and amps. In 1998, Aura again received recognition for its outstanding mobile products by winning four Autosound Grand Prix Awards.


Again, Aura has applied its proprietary technology and superior engineering in setting new performance standards for car audio separates and systems with its top-of-the-line Mobile Reference speakers. These products set new standards in motor efficiency, shielding and most importantly, sonic accuracy. Extra linearity provides larger excursion capability which means more bass and lower distortion. The bottom line: they sound awesome. An added benefit of the NRT design is its inherent magnetic shielding, which is increasingly important as today's vehicles use more and more magnetically sensitive instrumentation behind the dash.
