Founded in 1987, AuraSound specializes in the design, manufacturing and sales of superior fidelity loudspeakers and complete audio solutions. Our expertise is broad --- ranging from industry leading TV soundbars, high-quality drivers for TVs and monitors, professional speakers, to state-of-the art subwoofers and tactile transducers.
We create customized audio solutions to meet the needs of our customers and have the global resources to do so at competitive prices. We specialize in the production of high SPL, bass-rich, low-distortion sound from compact transducers. AuraSound develops products based on patented and proprietary technology.

With our 2010 acquisition of ASI Audio Technologies, we have significantly increased our resources and capabilities and moved from being solely a component supplier to a complete audio solution provider. Key Milestones
- 2010: AuraSound, Inc. acquires ASI Audio Technologies Ltd. (ASI), expanding to a developer and manufacturer of complete audio solutions.
- 2009: Executed a Securities Purchase Agreement whereby GGEC becomes majority shareholder in AuraSound, Inc.
- 2008: Developed embedded TV speakers and monitors based on proprietary technology.
- 2007: Aurasound, Inc. Initial Public Offering (OTC).
- 2005: Developed miniature speakers for laptop computers.
- 2001: First Whisper speakers developed and produced based on proprietary technology.
- 2000: Whisper NRT topology invented for compact, wide bandwidth transducer and patent filed.
- 1999: Aura Sound sold to Algo Technology. Algo Sound dba Aura Sound created.
- 1992: Developed and manufactured initial NRT-based speakers ranging from small 2“ drivers to 18” subwoofers.
- 1990: Neo Radial Technology (NRT) concept created from Aura Systems’ electromagnetic linear actuators and patent filed.
- 1987: Aura Systems founded by defense industry team, projects for SDI (Star Wars) and US Navy.
